(featured in episode 103) Myles of Style Glass Ball Chandelier Updated on 4/30/08 to include additional materials and hanging instructions. Materials Wire frame (Kim used a decorative platter from Pier 1 Imports) Craft wire or light floral wire Clear glass Christmas ball ornaments Additional colored glass ornaments (Kim used clear, matte and satin finished balls in gold, amber and brown) 4 small screw hooks Steps 1. Start with a wire frame — Kim used a round shallow bowl frame. 2. Using craft wire, or light floral wire, attach the clear balls to the under side of the wire frame. Make sure they hang freely. Also, cluster the clear ornaments in the center to allow light to pass through. 3. Place the colored balls around clear ones as you move out from the center. Tip: Mix up the colors/sizes of glass balls for more dimension. 4. Mount your new chandelier over an existing light fixture by screwing the four small hooks into the ceiling around the fixture.
