I love your show and many times when you do a room you use some colors that I think I might like however television sometimes show the color differently, I would love a color that is neutral yet airy, do you have a suggestion of some colors. I like greens, beiges, tans and cream colors but I don't like the colors that appear to have grey undertones.

Hi,
I live in a small townhouse and need assistance of a decorator. The problem: I don't know how to "choose" the right decorator. I have looked online, I have checked out the phone book. Where do I go from there? Thanks, J

Of course, you're WELCOME to come help me out! I love your creativity and you're are an inspiration.

I must say they could not have picked a better winner than they did when they picked you. You are the whole thing in a nut shell. Thank you for all the help you so generously give to others. I feel as if you could be the girl next store. I love the fact that you do not put on airs and your design star ststus has not gone to your head and ruined a perfectly beautiful lady from the inside out. Just wanted to let you know what a positive affect you have on others. Please always stay the same loving lady you are. Thank you again

I am a single parent and i have been decorating and remolding my home for the past few years. I recently closed in my patio from the roof to the sides walls. But when it starts to rain i have rain coming in from the corners. i also want to cover the wood from the inside with fabric. what kind of fabric should i used? I just recently saw one of your shows it was a patio with a fountain in place you used iron metal on the wall what was it?

hi kim,
my husband and i just moved into our house and we have no ideas on what our style is, i like classic and he likes modern. please help us find our balance!!!!!

Kim I am a fan of your show!!!

I love that you were chosen because you indeed are the BEST!Great personality, wonderful spirit and a creative being.

My question: How does one get you to come to their house?

My husband and I relocated from Boston MA to San Antonio TX almost 2 years ago. We are senior citizens who gave everything away...furniture, dishes, tv's, some clothes, linensetc...

Why? For family. My son and his family are here after serving in the military. I relaized that even after receiving a pacemaker last year that life is too short not to be with loved ones.

So we drove 2300 miles with a little bit and have started life over at 61!!

We were blessed to buy a home ...but the furnishings are from my sons last house. I am grateful for it...

we have not painted anything it is all beige!!!! It is a lovely home but needs your touch. I love a moroccan theme, bold colors like yellow and reds, deep blues. How do I do that well?

We have lovely archways a fireplace that is boring We did purchase a deep red sectional for the family room and some items from pier one and around that had a ethnic flavor.

When we moved we had to leave all of my african mudcloth, cuba cloth and pillows, pictures behind. Our funds were low...still don't have them but....

Yesterday I purchased 1 sample can of yellow but I am afraid to use it. We also have a limited budget. My "old husband decided to go back to school full time work full time and I am a retired but working teacher.

HELP!!!!!

Help!!!!!

Hello Myles! I need your help. when i first moved in to my home i painted the walls a light yellow color, I would like to know if there is something i can do to give the walls some texture. I m going for the classic southern look. I would appreciate if i can also get some height since my ceiling is not a 12 ft ceiling. I love your show i watch it all the time. Thanks

Just moved into a two level loft style condo in Hollywood (2000 sq ft). Need help with tall ceilings(18 ft) and color selection. The architecture is very modern, minimal and European. White walls and dark brown maple hard wood floors.
Haven't done much yet, too afraid to make a mistake.
Please help if possible.
Thanks

Hi Kim, I watched you during your time on Design Star and you were my number one pick during all the shows.

My husband and I just sold a 9 room house and moved into a small 2 bedroom apartment. While we are here I want it to have Myles of style, I don't like plain. Unfortunately, we can't change the walls from this un-interesting white and the living room is so what small. Before you suggest we move, we have a two year lease. Is there some way we can talk via telephone? Or can I send you pictures of what I have done with the living room so you can help me. Thank you so much.

I'm sorry, I can't bring myself to watch your show...From the minute your show starts you come across as thinking that you are superior to your audience. Like we are a bunch of brainless idiots who couldn't even pick out a paint color without you. Believe me YOU ARE NO VERN YIP....
The minute I hear your voice, I turn the channel.

Hi Kim,
Just to let you know great job, thanks for opening that small door. You are such an inspiration stay true to you and God bless. Oh Diane Dolmna good idea don't watch if you don't have anything nice to say. No she is not Vern, Vern is Vern and Kym is Kym. Vern shouldn't be a judge any more.

I love your show. You are so creative. I have a home that i have lived in 4 years and all the walls are still white. I have bought paint for two of the rooms, but I am afraid to put it on the walls. Please, if you come to Tennessee, stop in Memphis. Just love you.

I would love to know where to find the simple robin egg blue dishes features on the patio makeover show that used the big green plastic leaves on the sides of the pergola. Help please!
Love your show!

Hello Kim
I have been married 21 years and we moved out to StCharles,Il, to give our 4 children and better school distric to go to. So now we have a bigger house and no extra funds to do much. All we would like is some help with our kitchen it's very tired and needs you. And so do I. Please help us. Mary

kim, if I had just one wish,it would be for you to help me and our family make some sense of our home. This place has a very odd in deminsion and is very depressing to decorate. I have always had a niche for decorating, but this place has me stomped. My daughters are ages 10 and 5 they hate their space the most. We have very small living quarters compared to our last home. We relocated here (Cascade,Va) from Apple Valley,Ca.,and although this is a place of country splendor, our interior does not reflect that. My husband is a die-hard hunter, fisher, outdoorsman, who does not see the big deal,he's one of those people that you just have surprise then he'll like it. I'm so glad for your new success - PLEASE HELP!
