Whenever I hear the word "tradition," all I can think of is Tevye singing "Tradition" in Fiddler on the Roof. While too much tradition can be stifling, as it proves for Tevye's daughters, it doesn't have to translate as stuffy, conservative or old-fashioned in design.
If you fear tradition, it's time give it another chance, especially if you're friends with an Old World guy or gal. Once you take a look at our gift guide for those who love traditional and Old World style, you may just want to add a few pieces to your own spaces.
