Has it come to this? We now need a whole system to organize our handbags? I have to laugh as I picture the shelf in my closet devoted to purse storage...so yes, it has. Enter a new line from a company called Simply Sarah, the Handbag Hanger is available in a variety of patterns and runs $30. According to the press release, it's a hit:

“Handbag Hangers are great because they are a simple, yet ingenious way to tame even the largest handbag collection. Our customers live in small spaces, so they love them because just one of them can hold many bags, plus you don’t have to take up closet space because they look attractive hanging on the wall. Another bonus is always having your bags on display, making it easier to choose which one you want to use,” said Gretchen of Tiny Living, NYC.

What do you think? Need it? Love it? Ditch it? Let's hear it.

I have alot of handbags hanging all over the closet.I think this is a good space saver. I think I could probably make one for under the $30 cost.

Great concept, but they need more fabric offerings. Those fabrics are pretty ugh-ly! I know there are folks that like all the pop/retro/mid-century/Pucci-style prints, but sometimes you just want a nice, soft caramel suede when you stare into your closet. :-)

Looks great with one bag however since each hook has room to hold 3-4 bags once you use most of the hooks the wall is going to look worse then the closet.

I am looking for something similar to this.. but that's not quite it. I not only need something to keep all my handbags together, I need something to protect them from dust, etc. So.. the search continues!

I think it is a great idea; however, I would want something not so decorative and could hold more than this.

Not too impressed.

I agree with one reviewer who thought that the fabrics are ugly. Also think that putting more than one bag on this would make it look pretty bulky and busy.

And lastly, I am sure I'd have to dust my bags all the time with this system!! I'm currently using the handbag hanger system from the Container Store - not too pretty but the best I found so far because it keeps the bag halfway protected from dust.

It is a must have item for the handbag lovers. I would prefer the hanger to be wider (for stability) handbags to be spaced out more (less bulky) and a clear cover over the handbags (for protection). Just my thoughts ;)
