More Crafty Easter Cuteness

Posted by camille – March 18, 2008 5:32 PM

I found these 2 absolutely adorable Easter craft projects and couldn't wait to share them! One glance at Jennifer Murphy's and Betz White's crafts and it's obvious why these projects are so irresistible.

To make this charming, little no-sew Pom Pom Bunny, just follow Jennifer's step-by-step instructions. This little charmer would make a fanciful addition to your Easter decorations and is simple enough to create that an older child can help assemble them. If you wish, customize your bunny by substituting a small paper sign, a tiny basket or brightly-wrapped chocolates for the paper flowers.

To see more of Jennifer's lovely vintage-inspired creatures, check out her own online store stocked with her limited-edition, lovingly handmade creations, like Florance the Bear, Poppy the Bunny or Rutherford the Squirrel shown below.

What little girl (and some big girls) wouldn't love waking up Easter morning to find treats tucked into this sweet little tote! This elegant basket-shaped bag looks difficult to make, but Betz White's Spring Mini Tote is actually stitched together using felted sections of discarded sweaters. Recycling has never looked so good.

To see more of Betz's whimsical felted designs, visit her etsy shop, where you can purchase the imaginative Cup O Joe and Cupcake Pincushions shown below or her book, Warm Fuzzies, with step-by-step instructions so you can create your own!
