"A man's work is from sun to sun, but a mother's work is never done." The author of this bit of verse is unknown, but a truer thing was never said! This year show your Mom, or for that matter, any mom -- friend, sister, grandmother, that she is appreciated with one of these crafty creations. I've combed the Internet and found some real gems:
Let's start with cards. Show Mom that you're her #1 fan with a Handmade Photo Card, Stamped Ribbon Card or this lovely Distressed Daisy Card.

As another sage person (probably a Mom) once said, "A woman can never have too many purses." Well said! Once you've made your first purse, you'll be hooked! Stylishly outfit a Mom you know with this gorgeous Silk Pleated Purse, Photo Cigar Box Purse or Removable Flower Tote

Of course, the perfect companion to a new purse is sparkly new jewelry. Truly who doesn't love receiving beautiful, handmade trinkets. I found this cute Button Bracelet on the Creative Kismet blog, she was even kind enough to do a tutorial for it. Even if you're new to jewelry-making, you can easily follow her step-by-step photos. Create this Photo Pendant Necklace for the family-centric Mom in your life to show off her favorite photo.

And, of course, we have many more ideas for making Mom's Day memorable on HGTV.com. Visit us for 10 new step-by-step craft project videos and a great gift guide for those of you who are long on unique gift intentions, but short on time!
